  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Oreo cookie chunks
  • 3/4 cup red, white, & blue M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup red, white, & blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry cake mix, softened butter, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
  2. Stir in the Oreo chunks along with ½ cup of M&Ms and ¼ cup of sprinkles until evenly mixed.
  3. Refrigerate the dough for about 60 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F while the dough firms up.
  5. Scoop out even balls of dough using a cookie scoop and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes until just set.
  7. Cool on the pan for two minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
