Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 24 strawberries, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. In a medium bowl, mix flour and sugar. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Form into three balls and knead until smooth.
  2. Roll one dough ball on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use a star cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them an inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until set. Cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  4. Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth; spread over cooled cookies.
  5. Top each cookie with strawberry halves arranged like rays and three blueberries in the center.
