  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet or wok over medium-high heat, sauté the sliced beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, stir-fry broccoli and onion for 3-4 minutes; add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet with vegetables; pour in the sauce and combine well for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet; toss until everything is well-coated in sauce.
