  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 2 pre-made Pie Crusts
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • Chopped Pistachios & Maraschino Cherries (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
  3. Line the bottom of a baking dish with one pie crust. Pour the ricotta mixture over it and spread evenly. Cover with the second pie crust.
  4. Brush the top crust with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Add chopped pistachios and maraschino cherries for decoration.
  5. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cooling before slicing into squares.
