  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled.
  4. Punch down the dough and roll it into a rectangle. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture before rolling tightly into a log and cutting into 12 pieces.
