  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Mixed rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Cook the diced chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add broccoli, green beans, and sliced peppers; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Return chicken to the pan and mix in soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve over warm mixed rice.
