  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub and pierce the potatoes with a fork.
  2. Bake potatoes for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add chopped onion and green bell pepper; cook until softened.
  5. Stir in BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Cut baked potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out some flesh.
  7. Fill each half with the cheeseburger mixture.
  8. Top with crumbled turkey bacon and shredded cheese.
  9. Return to oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
  10. Serve immediately as potato halves or on burger buns.
