  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf or round cake pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix together flour, ground cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and kosher salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently until just combined.
  6. Pour in warm milk and mix until fully incorporated.
