Instructions

  1. Prepare the white cake mix as per package instructions and pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan. Bake until golden brown and cool completely.
  2. Poke holes using a straw or wooden spoon handle across the cooled cake.
  3. Mix each Jell-o flavor separately with boiling water and cold water until dissolved.
  4. Carefully pour half of the blue Jell-o over one side of the cake and half of the red Jell-o over the other side, ensuring liquid seeps into the holes.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight to set.
  6. Spread thawed whipped topping evenly over the set cake.
