  • 1 medium cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1½ tbsp sesame oil
  • ¼ cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice apple vinegar
  • 23 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 12 tbsp Sriracha (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, cornstarch, oil, optional garlic powder, and water until smooth. Coat the cauliflower florets evenly.
  3. Spread coated cauliflower on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While baking, prepare the sauce by combining sesame oil, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, Sriracha, minced ginger, garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan over medium heat; stir until thickened.
  5. Toss baked cauliflower in the sticky sauce until fully coated and serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions.
