  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in water)
  • For streusel topping: 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 5 tbsp butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and additional cinnamon
  • Icing: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, and vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a muffin tin with softened butter.
  2. Prepare apples by peeling, slicing, and dicing. Mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, melted butter, and cornstarch; microwave until thickened.
