  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. Grease a 9×9 casserole dish and layer blanched broccoli at the bottom.
  4. In a bowl, season chicken pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, chives, parsley, dill weed, salt, and pepper.
  5. Sauté seasoned chicken in olive oil until fully cooked; add minced garlic for the last 30 seconds.
  6. Combine sautéed chicken with blanched broccoli in the casserole dish.
  7. In the same skillet, add heavy cream to create a cheese sauce; whisk until thickened and add in cheeses.
  8. Pour cheese mixture over chicken and broccoli; stir gently to combine.
  9. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  10. Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
